Interesting article in Bloomberg News on Parental Leave in the US.

We at ICOMM our proud of our parental leave program. In the past 3 years, a number of our staff have used it, with 3 months of paid leave (even for the adoption of a newborn). It’s a shame that more companies don’t embrace this sort of policy. Besides simply treating our staff like actual human beings, such a policy engenders trust and commitment, not just from those who directly benefit from the policy, but also from our staff in general as they see we really do care about our “human resources”.
